Return & Refund Policy

At Danish Companion, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. If you wish to return an item, we offer a 30-day return policy from the date your order is delivered.

Returns

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it. It must not have been used outdoors and should be returned in its original condition and, whenever possible, in its original packaging.

We recommend trying the product on indoors to ensure the correct fit before use. Items cannot be returned if they show visible signs of use, including dog hair, odours, dirt, stains, or damage.

Free Size Exchange

Ordered the wrong size?

We offer free size exchanges.

Simply contact us at contact@danishcompanion.dk, and we'll help you find the right size and guide you through the exchange process.

Return Shipping

For returns due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as you remain responsible for the item until it has been received by us.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or if you have received the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@danishcompanion.dk, and we'll resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns of:

• Gift cards
• Custom-made or personalised products
• Items showing visible signs of use, including damage, dog hair, odours, or dirt

If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Nordic Trail Bundle

If you purchased the Nordic Trail Bundle with the bundle discount, the entire bundle must be returned together to qualify for a full refund.

The Danish Companion Signature Box is part of the bundle and must therefore also be returned.

If you only wish to return one item from the bundle, please contact us first and we'll help you find the best possible solution.

Pre-Orders

For pre-orders, your order is reserved immediately after purchase.

You may cancel your pre-order at any time before it has been dispatched.

Once your order has been shipped, this Return & Refund Policy applies in the same way as for all other purchases.

EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If your order is delivered within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period begins on the day you receive your order.

Returned items must be in the same condition as received and should be returned in their original packaging.

This statutory right is in addition to our voluntary 30-day return policy, which we offer to all customers.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued automatically to your original payment method.

Please note that it may take several business days before your bank or card issuer processes and posts the refund.

If you have not received your refund within 15 business days after our approval, please contact us at contact@danishcompanion.dk.
