The collar is built around a magnetic Fidlock® safety buckle - a closure system developed in Germany for equipment with high safety requirements. The magnetic guidance ensures precise alignment, while the mechanical locking mechanism keeps the buckle stable under load.
The buckle is constructed with metal components and designed to withstand significantly higher forces than traditional plastic buckles. The same technology is used in climbing equipment and professional outdoor gear - here adapted specifically for a dog collar.
TrailStrap™ is our chosen material, developed for an active dog life in all kinds of weather. It is water-resistant, smell-free, and does not absorb water or dirt. The material dries quickly, remains flexible and comfortable, and retains both function and appearance - even after repeated exposure to wind and weather.

Can the Fidlock® buckle open by itself?

No. The Fidlock® V-BUCKLE was developed for applications where safety is crucial. The buckle combines magnetic guidance with a mechanical safety lock, which keeps it securely closed under load.

In fact, the higher the load on the buckle, the more force is required to open it. That is why this technology is also used in equipment with high safety requirements.

How quickly will my order be shipped?

We usually ship within 1-3 business days. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.

Is the collar suitable for puppies?

Yes. The extensive adjustability makes the Nordic Trail Collar suitable for puppies, young dogs, and adult dogs alike. We always recommend measuring your dog's neck and choosing the size based on the size guide.

How do I clean the collar and leash?
